So, I know its been a while since we’ve left the tranquil settings of Colchester and resumed back to our normal possibly mundane but interesting lives. But it seems the thoughts and ideas from #iwmw2009 hasn’t quite left our minds. There was lots being said and also lots to be done. So let’s have a recap of everything that went on those 3 eventful days in and about the workshop.

As some of you might already, I’ve long been http://www.lgeoresearch.com/img/livestreamingiwmw2009.jpga local government online engagement researcher and have been concentrating alot of my research in that sector. But now I’m branching out into other sectors and I’m happy to say that #imwm2009 was my first HEI gig! I even accidently ended up conducting my own barcamp on social media! Ah, it seems the only was to get me to talk at unconferences nowadays is to ambush me LOL. Same thing happened to me at another unconference for #localgovcamp, which you can check out here.
Liz Azyan (Doctoral Researcher – PhD, Royal Holloway, University of London) holds a Diploma in Computer Science, a 1st class BSc (Hons) degree in Business Computing (2003 – Best Student) both from MARA University of Technology (Malaysia) and a Distinction in MSc in Business Information Systems (2005) from Royal Holloway, University of London.
